Pen & Sword Books have launched a free bi-monthly online magazine
entitled Warfare, published under our magazine imprint Wharncliffe
History Magazines. The magazine can be viewed online, downloaded
and even printed off – all free of charge.
Content includes military, family and general history, wargaming,
modelling and re-enactment. There is a new release and review section
for books, computer games and films as well as model kits, wargames
and miniature models. Each issue will feature exclusive competitions
and reader offers, all presented in a modern, reader-friendly interactive
format. As Warfare is a free publication, it can be enjoyed by anyone
with internet access – from school children to pensioners.
Warfare is already proving a hit with readers and advertisers alike. Its
interactive capabilities provide a more stimulating read; with articles
and adverts being brought to life through Flash content, video clips
and audio effects. Advertisers are offered a platform like no other: with
a single click you can access further reading material and request
information on products and services. You can even search our
events listings for something to do at the weekend!
