Music buffs can now choose high quality audio options which enhance the listening experience both online and offline. There are two new audio quality settings available for subscribers: Enhanced 3G Streaming and Super High Quality Audio. Bloom.fm has also introduced VoiceOver support, making the app’s innovative interface and full range of features accessible to vision-impaired music fans.

The new features in detail:

* Enhanced 3G Streaming significantly increases the audio quality of streamed tracks from 128 kbps to 160 kbps.
* Super High Quality Audio improves quality of borrowed tracks, stored on the users device from 160 kbps to 320 kbps.
* VoiceOver support annotates all the elements on a page with meaningful spoken descriptions.
* To ensure the new VoiceOver experience was perfect, Bloom.fm asked its vision-impaired users for assistance when designing the new feature. Their feedback was invaluable and allowed Bloom.fm to identify elements which needed to be adapted for it to work seamlessly.
Bloom.fm introduced the world’s first £1 per month music subscriptions and has received rave reviews since its launch in January.
Over 150,000 people have already joined the service and the app has been praised for its distinctive design and ease of use.
A free app with a library of over 18 million tracks, legally licensed from leading major and independent record labels.
