Over 20 years of art by the acclaimed artist, Xenz is brought together for the first time in a retrospective book documenting the best moments of his graffiti and fine art career.

Featuring over 500 colour images, The Art of Xenz is 257 pages of beautiful landscape paintings, prints and photographs which immerse the viewer in an exotic world of nature drawn from the vivid depths of the artist’s imagination. This in-depth portrayal of Xenz explores the artist’s urban beginnings in the north of England; his prolific graffiti career in Bristol; and his subsequent meteoric rise in London’s fine art world.

Released as a special collector’s edition, The Art of Xenz book is presented in a midnight blue box with foil Xenz logo detailing, and includes one 25.4 x 20.3cm canvas tile painting from a specially-produced, 200-piece mural entitled, The Enchanted Forest Mosaic. Each stunningly-detailed tile from the mural is unique making no two box sets the same.

Divided into sections, The Art of Xenz explores the light and dark side of the artist’s body of work. The Enchanted Forest represents the ethereal influences of The Far East and the decorative arts, whilst The Concrete Jungle delves into the grittier side of his art, which is inspired by pigeons and apocalyptic landscapes. The book also includes a large selection of Xenz graffiti murals dating back to 1987.

Xenz says: “Spanning more than two decades, this book showcases the best of my work in the studio and on the street. To celebrate this milestone in my career, I am releasing the first 200 copies of this book along with an original piece of art from a beautiful hummingbird mural I’ve been painting on my studio wall for the past few months. Pictures tell stories without words and I want you each to have a piece of my story as an artist.”

Produced in a signed and numbered edition of 200, and priced £195.00 + P&P, The Art of Xenz: Collector’s Edition Box Set will be exclusively available to buy at www.xenz.org from 12 p.m. (GMT) on November 28, 2013.
