– Lightweight, durable and corrosion-free: the new Rollei Tripods TGC-86 and T-63C –
London, UK. 9 April 2014: Rollei, the iconic German camera manufacturer has added two more professional tripods to their growing specialist product portfolio.
The TGC-86 and the T-63C from Rollei Fotopro are made from carbon, making them extremely lightweight, very durable and corrosion resistant. Built to withstand sand and salt water without damage the tripods are the ideal companion for amateur and serious photographers.
Thanks to secure and comfortable quick-clamping system, non-slip rubber grip and wrist strap, the monopod TGC-86, with carbon fibre legs, is especially good for sports and outdoor photography.
The minimum working height of 41cm corresponds to the packing size, with a maximum working height of 151cm. Despite the low weight of only 618 grams, the stable TGC-86 can be loaded with up to 25 kilograms. The 60-millimeter camera platform has both a ¼ inch and 3/8 inch connections and is supplied with a stand bag. The monopod TGC-86 will be available for £199.99 (RRP) from the end of March.
The T-63C with stand pipes made of 100% carbon has been specially developed for travel and nature photography, thanks to its flexibility for ground-level shots. The carbon tripod can withstand extreme temperatures and is protected against corrosion. The minimum working height is 43cm the maximum 167cm and the pack size of 161cm. With a weight of just 1.5 kg, it has a load capacity of up to 20 kg. The T-63C has a mounting plate with ¼inch and 3/8inch connections. The leg connector, with three locking positions, and quick release for the leg lock guarantees a safe state of the camera. The tripod provides an extremely stable and shock-resistant hard-case carrying case, spikes, replacement rubber caps and a set of tools for readjustment. The T-63C will also be the end of March for £499.99 (RRP).
