B1994

With so many excellent books appearing to commemorate the first Centenary of the Great War it can be a major challenge to choice an affordable collection and find the space to house them. This must be one of the books chosen because it provides balance to books written from the perspective of one of the protagonists. It is a work with vibrancy, colour, feeling, authenticity. The words flow and do not drag at any point.
