23 February 2015 – Sandown Park’s William Hill Imperial Cup Day will play host to a star studded Cheltenham Festival preview panel following the afternoon Jump fixture on Saturday, 7th March in Esher Hall and for the first time, tickets for this day are just £5 for grandstand and £10 for premier enclosure.
Racegoers will be able to enjoy marking their cards from the opinion of champion trainers Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls, Big Bucks and Saphir Du Rheu owner Andy Stewart, William Hill’s PR Director Kate Miller and London Racecourses Jump Racing Ambassador jockey Jamie Moore subject to riding commitments. Channel 4 Racing anchor Nick Luck will play host to the top quality panel as Sandown’s William Hill Imperial Cup Day Cheltenham Preview continues to offer one of the most well respected panel of guests in the country.
The William Hill sponsored event will start approximately 15 minutes after the last race on the card. Customers will be able to enjoy this preview panel for an additional £2 on top of their advanced booked ticket price and all proceeds made from the event will be donated to The Injured Jockeys Fund. Early advance booking is recommended as there is only a limited amount of tickets available for the Preview event.
William Hill Imperial Cup Day on Saturday 7th March is the second of two consecutive days of racing at Sandown Park, the first being The Grand Military Gold Cup Day on Friday 6th March which is an important landmark in the Jump season. The day will showcase the discipline and precision of the Army, Navy and RAF and renew their strong, historic bond with the racing world.
