Mr. Men in London

Mr. Men and Little Miss enthusiasts of all ages can join the characters in their adventures around London with a larger-than-life storytime of the new book Mr. Men in London. Get nautical this summer at London Transport Museum with interactive storytime and creative workshops. Aspiring captains can join an imaginary voyage down the river in a Thames Nipper, adding to the story by discussing what they can see from the boat, before joining an Artburst workshop for some creative fun inspired by the All Aboard family play zone. They can design musical bobbing boats to sail in a sculpture parade before taking their creations home.

The Museum’s new All Aboard family play zone features the real Thames Nipper, and little ones can dress up in uniforms, serve passengers in the Nipper café, and make driver announcements. There is fun to be had on land too, with a mini-vehicle fleet including a bus, Tube train and taxi, along with the Baby DLR and the chance to become a star at the busking spot!

Be Safe Week

Workshops for families and free stamper card trail will run from 10 – 14 August
