Dremel unveils brand new additions to its product range

A brand synonymous with crafting and recognised by makers across the globe, Dremel has unveiled three brand new products that complement its current portfolio.

Perfect for crafting novices or skilled hands, the Dremel Hatch Project Kit (RRP £39.99) is an all-in-one product that gives aspiring creatives the tools and inspiration they need to paint and create their own piece of art. Complete with pallet, paint, brushes, a marker, eraser, sandpaper, test wood, London and New York skylines plus another 80 available to download for free, all that’s left to do is create!

Consumers can follow existing templates or use their imagination and freestyle to produce a truly bespoke piece that brings the iconic sights of London, bustle of Tokyo or romance of Paris into their own homes.

Dremel has also unveiled the latest addition to its multi tool range, the 4300 (RRP £139.99). From drilling jewellery and etching onto glass to polishing and carving or even cleaning grout from bathroom tiles, this product can do it all.

Complete with 360° adjustable LED light for maximum visibility for enhanced precision and an improved motor for quieter, cooler operation, users can tackle the biggest and smallest of DIY tasks with detail and precision. The 4300 is also equipped with a three-jaw chuck that accepts Dremel accessories of differing sizes, meaning there’s no need for a wrench so attachment changes are a quick and easy process.

Completing the trio of new products is the Dremel 8220 (RRP from £109.99). It’s a variable speed, cordless rotary tool incorporating the 360° LED light of the 4300, in addition to being powered by a 12V Lithium-ion battery, ensuring there’s the freedom of cordless technology but no compromise on power.

It really lets the user work their way into fiddly curves and bends making it perfect for sanding down furniture for upcycling projects, carving bespoke designs into creations or even cleaning rusty garden fencing so it’s primed and ready for a rejuvenating lick of paint.

Andrew Cluney, Regional Brand Manager at Dremel UK comments: “At Dremel we pride ourselves on innovation so our team of experts are continually looking to develop products and ensure they make crafting a fun and enjoyable outlet for our consumers, whether they’re professionals or hobbyists, and we always take customer feedback on board.

“It’s with this in mind that we decided to launch the Hatch Project Kit. We know that there are would-be crafters out there but they don’t know where to start. Our aim with the Hatch Kit is to nurture that potential. It has everything the consumer needs to get started, even down to a piece of wood to use as a test as well as templates for those who worry about having a steady hand, and the paint and brushes for those consumers who prefer to unleash their creativity in a more freestyle manner.

“For the more dedicated makers out there, crafting is a big part of who they are and many spend hours designing, working, and perfecting their projects. Even those who get paid for their art began their careers out of a love for what they do, so if we can create innovative tools like the 4300 and 8220 that make their work flow more seamlessly and keep that passion alive in our customers, we’re doing something right.”
