With all of the books, articles and thousands of miles of film that has been produced since 1945 on every conceivable aspect of WWII, it is difficult to imagine that anything has been overlooked. However, here is a fascinating book to prove that much is yet to be adequately covered, Fortunately, this is an excellent exposure of an absorbing story. It is a story of courage, sadness, success, and hope, that has been crafted by the authors on the foundation of thorough research and commitment. On several levels this is an important book that will find a cherished place on many bookshelves.
